With so much uncertainty during this pandemic, life as we once knew it has changed drastically. I will admit, I am a “planner” by nature. So, needless to say, I am learning to cope with the fact that any plan we have or think we have could change at a moment’s notice. I have had to really let go of what control I thought I had in my life. The Lord has helped me to see that I need to release my life to Him and His plan and purposes. Life has become much simpler and different then I could have ever imagined. There have been times during this pandemic that we have said to our kids that it feels like we are living back when we were growing up!
This place I find myself in is really right where the Lord wants us to be, living in relationship with Him and depending on Him in every season of life. I am thankful for this time to reflect and realign myself with whatever the Lord has planned for me. Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for calamity, to give you a future and a hope.”
