Have you ever thought about the internal struggle that is within yourself? The facade you feel you need to portray to the world?
You may be “fighting” the wrong battle. The battle to stand up for this cause or that cause. You are looking for acceptance and love, to be affirmed in yourself.
There is someone who loves you for who you are. His name is Jesus. Often today you hear John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” But friend do not forget John 3:17, “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.”
Wow, what is this love? We don’t see this kind of selfless love in this world. Don’t you wish in your heart of hearts a best friend, spouse, or whoever could? Only Jesus can fill that longing for love that you are searching after.
What a different world it would be if we accepted Jesus’ love. He died on the cross for you and me. He took our place for all the wrongs and sins we have committed. With Jesus, you don’t have to look “good” or be “good.” Just accept his invitation of forgiveness and He will show you a love that you have not found.
