JOY IN LIFE

Finding joy in this life can be difficult. Happiness and joy are very different and most people are looking for happiness which never seems to last! Jesus came to bring us joy and many times we turn Him away in search of it in a person or job. No person or position can bring us happiness or joy that will sustain us in life. This Christmas season is a perfect time to think about the very things that we think bring us happiness. I pray that during this season, you would take some time to ask God to make Himself present in your life. He is waiting patiently for everyone to come asking and let me tell you this will change your life. He is loving and compassionate and cares about you! My prayer is that you would seek after God and that you find joy and peace in Him this Christmas season.

Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in my Father’s name bear witness about me, but you do not believe because you are not among my sheep. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.

 

John 10:25-29

Lord thank you that if we believe that you came to die for our sins that we will be a child of God forgiven forever! So thankful that you promise us eternal life and that nothing can take us from your hand or care. Thank you for the peace that comes in knowing you are for us and love us so much!!
