As we start new seasons in our lives, I am reminded of that word joy that God has given me over and over again. This is the acronym for JOY:
I am again embarking on a new season. The school I worked for closed permanently in June. We had 3 days notice of our closure and had to close the school building down. It was a great deal to process in a short amount of time. I know that God knows and cares for me. So many of my family and friends reached out when they heard and said they were not only praying for me, but all the staff, students, and families impacted by the closure. God has been there for me through every season of my life and he not only has answered my prayers, but the prayers of many around me.
There is a song by one of my favorite music artists Tobymac called Steal My Show. The lyrics seem so fitting when God whispers to us, it is time for a new season:

Prayer
Lord I know that you love and care for us. You care about everything that goes on in our lives. We can come to you for everything knowing that you love us. I am so thankful for the gift you gave me in Jesus and becoming my savior. I am at peace knowing you will work all things for my good! If you want to learn more about Jesus, read the book of John in the Bible. My prayer is you find peace and joy in Jesus. He is the only constant and has never changed in my life.
